Daycare description / philosophy

I provide quality childcare within a safe and caring environment where learning takes place through play.
My philosophy: I place a strong importance on working with children to develop moral values, proactive social skills, self expression, self confidence, self regulation strategies, creativety and imagination and appreciation for the outdoors and the natural environment.
I believe we are entering a partnership. Open communication between parents and the caregiver is of the utmost importance, given our shared responsibilty for the care of your child. I treat children with dignity and respect. My goal is to enhance the development of the whole child, socially, physically, emotionally, intellectually and creatively. We encourage your child to establish a positive self concept, to become independent, responsible, learn to communicate with a small group of children, and to enjoy the challege of learning about their world.
